Need...Inspiring...Ideas.

Anyhoo. Our school wants us art people to make yearbook covers. The theme is 'Spiral Staircase'. So far, I'm out of ideas. I welcome all brainstorm. Please. Help.

The theme is begging for fractals, and lots of it.

They asked for a simple yet sophisticated design. So fractals might be too much.

Argggg, how can you do spiral and not fractal?

Simple usually=sophisticated, black on white, gold on blue, something light on something dark (could do school colors as long as it's not hideous purple or neon green or something) And make a.. well spiral staircase, don't do medieval or anything, marble staircase.
