Er... NSR plzz?

Post by fena »

kay.
So I haven't Photoshopped in a few months, actually. Forgot everything. It's time to get back to those tutorials, well, when I have time, anyway. But I will be soon. :]

I was just wondering what you guys think of my new Sig? I'm going to work out the tail this weekend. I know it looks kinda messed up. Other than that, could you guys rate it? Please and thank you. :]

It's my first vertical. After coming back from a two-month or so hiatus from Photoshop, I'm actually quite pleased.

(What can I add, change, fix... or is the simplicity good?)

Thanks, guys!

Thanks, Hershey!
And yeah, the more I look at the tail, the more I go bleh, haha.

I purposely made the background blurry, though. I wanted the phoenix to stand out against the blurred background. Do you think it'd be better if there was less contrast / blur?

Nice!

I love Kagaya's work! The Phoenix is one of his best works, imo! :)

O.o stallowned's avvy????

The brushes by the left is counterproductive in terms of your otherwise good flow. Like everything else, maybe a little less obvious the filter you used on the background.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I hope to have some time over the weekend to fix this up. :]

Your Phoenix

Wow! I didn't even know that, haha. My friend sent me a huge pack of pictures with phoenixes in them a couple of months ago, during the summer (and if you guys didn't realize, fena -> phoenix. I love phoenixes), and I thought that one was really pretty, so I used it.

That site looks like it has some awesome things in it. Would it be considered ripping to use them as a basis for my own work in the future?

Thanks, RuYi!

I highly doubted unless all you do is stamp your name on there... change it enough and it derives into your work.
