First signature ever

As the subject states this is my first sig:
I'm not a big halo fanboy, but i made a halo sig anyways. The main reason for making it is just to get some practice in.
What do you guys think?

please do, I still phail with ps, and haven't found anything that works for me
many tutorials say use a gradient and other stuff I don't know how to do
thats what I need a tutorial on: being able to comprehend other tutorials
