This was my attempt on the sig.
I might need a bit of advice on it though

try adding some effects to the background itself, it also looks like you took out a little from the render itself..
Emboss looks kinda noobish on text imho, so it's a good thing you didn't do that (the 'noobs' tend to always use emboss imx)
Put a shadow under your emboss of the entire image though.. And make the render pop out (which i think you were trying to do)
Ps, i'm not so pro at sig making..

Try out some basic tutorials
Oh, and try not to make it so I can tell what you did to make that sig. I can easily tell you did some filters, slapped on a render and text.

practice makes perfect, n the AC is the ideal place to get feedback on your work.
just keep on trying and listen to what the "professionals" have to say. they all
started of like you once

Yeh,Rizla and ReK are like pro.
Me's wants feeback from them and i wanna know a bit more about it because all i did in that one was use the render and the Shift+Click around the render invert and then paste it onto the background.

Do it if you feel up to it anyone and then pm it to me or post in the thread.

I would spend my time with your feedback, but you will need to show some dedication before I invest in you. In SRO you frequently change servers/characters which leads me to believe you have issues sticking to something til its finished, and I wont waste my time on it. So, prove to me you REALLY want this over the course of a couple weeks [EDIT:MONTH], and my help is yours.
EDIT: On top of that I see you didnt respect my directive given in sig requests. You will really have to demonstrate more maturity if you want help from me.

just try some tutorials from tech-gfx.net and once you learned all the basics try using them with your own style. Just keep practicing that's what I did until I got better. Gud Luck

Find, search, download or steal (just joking) tutorials from anywhere possible. Look through them, then find someone to teach you about basic arts.
You must know what is nice before you can make something nice.
Then put in hours, days, months, years of time practising and perfect your skills.
Happy grinding

looks like a typical first sig, gradient tool + blending options and a render

Not being able to use photoshop as well as rek or (forgot the other person you mentioned as I'm typing this, so we'll call him) bob doesn't prevent you from reading right?
Nice nifty title

Go play around with the software, buy books, learn it when you have your spare time.

I hate tuts. LOL Find some really basic ones just to learn what does what and then just push buttons and figure out what they do. Who cares if your sig wins you kudos on some small dusty corner of SRF? Mine never do cause they arent all squiggly and cloudy looking and I dont like *gasp* PhotoShop and use PSP instead. Do what you like and if it's not perfect, who cares?
You deserve great props for trying to make your own and not begging for someone else to make you one. Keep trying, you'll get the hang of it and hopefully develop your own personal style.
OT: You guys can be terribly elitist here in AC, lighten up a bit princesses.
