I kinda like the background you've made, but I personally don't think it suits the render, despite being complimentary colours.
I do like the text though, and the border is good.

Edit* On another note, that sprite tag in your current sig is fantastic.

Totally agree, the focal seems out of place with that bg.

I like your sigs and your my role model in them keep it up too me I'd give your sigs a 9/10
