IT IS HUGE!

^Kinda like that.

Anyway, To be honest, the first one just plain sucks.

- The horrible standard-yellowish color used with a STROKE. *shiver*
- Render not blended
- BG is plain, which can be good, but isn't this time.
- Text is... Horrible.
- Once again the standard yellow-ish color in a stroke. This time on the text.
- No to little lighting

As for the second one, it's better. Slightly.

- Loving the Vectored render, but Im sorry to say I doubt you did that yourself.
- Drop shadow on everything DOESN'T work.
- I can recognize which brush-set you used, lol.
- Brushing is plain, no flow going on.
- Colours are horrible to be honest. I know you'll see a lot of vectors with a multitude of colours, but they'll often have a bigger canvas, and have less going on. You should've stuck with one, maybe 2 types of colours, and use different gradations of shading in them.
- Once again little to no lighting.
- Is that an outter glow I see on the render? O.O In the yellow-ish colour once again. *SHIVER*
- Text is once again horrible, font doesn't fit at ALL.

I hope this gives you a general idea of what you've done wrong ^^

As for one last, general tip: Browse Deviant Art, download some brushes you'd like(In several styles reccomendend(So, vector, abstract, grunge, etc.)) and search for some tuts. Not all of them will use brushes. But it will help you a lot. :)
