just want something cleared up cuz im confused..

i hear yall say c4d is "an abstract blablabla".. id just like to know why. because
as far as i know c4d stands for cinema4d which is a 3d designers program like
3dmax. but at almost every NSR i hear stuff like this:

I normally add a wierd effect, (I think you guys call it C4D or some crap like that)

so yea, what id like to know is why do you guys call "abstract shapes" or
whatever c4d's. is that some term i missed during my design education? oO

yes C4d = Cinema 4D.

when somebody says "used a c4d", etc they are generally referring to an abstract render generated from Cinema4D. Due to the bends and swirls they are an easy fix for effects/dynamic-esque lighting.
