I tried to take of the freckles from this picture its so hard! This is the furthest i got...

you know how it follows the mouse as you brush? Thats really annoying It didnt work so well anyways..

How to use the clone stamp:

Alt+Click the spot you want to clone.

Normal click somewhere to put the clone.

Repeat.

If you don't change the clone area often it will never come out right. Good luck!

that is a very difficult modification to make, to do it right would take a professional a bit of time even.

The cleanest way I could imagine doing it, would be to go inbetween her freckles and make swatches of the color, as well as a reference point (on another layer) then use threshold to make an accurate selection of all her freckles (would prolly take multiple threshold samplings, which you would need to mix/match to be accurate), once you have her freckles selected, use your swatches and reference points (on a new layer) to color in the skin over the freckle, as it should based on the color next to the freckle.

Then, it would be a smudge/opacity/duplication bonanza.

Clone stamp gets easier the more clean spots you have, at first it's inch by inch but then at the end it's a breeze.

I can generally tell if something was clone-stamped, especially on something as delicate as skin, errors on skin show very easily.

Well if you do it right, match bit by bit it usually works out. Of course you'd have to match lighting and shadow and such, agree with you, it's a hard edit.

Unless you completely do a brand new skin for her on a new layer, cut out the hair eyes and such.

Ill probably give it a shot next week, its good practice for sure.

No clone brush used, I dont think Paint Shop Pro has one. lol And I didnt do her whole body, Im too lazy and I figured her face has hard enough, body would have been easier, just would take too much time.

psp 8 has a clone brush its called clone if memory serves

DJ and NB not bad at all, a posthouse would castrate a designer for submitting those, but I am extremely impressed at what y'all could achieve.

woah i wasnt mad at u nb, jkin around, i think DJ did it best, how did u do it?

I used clone stamp like they said.

I airbrushed new color over the freckles and smoothed it in with the softening tool, both set to like 20% opacity, and repeated that a few times in layers. Its what I usually do when I am trying to merge two photographs together, like I did on the video with FLy and I (making him superman, etc).
