is he a ferret?

cute.
would like to see some more light variation, the whole sig is bright and youre not leading my eyes anywhere with its luma values. Could gain some more depth with a bit of shadowing around that cloud or puff the subject is standing on. I hate text that touches edges, either bring it over the edge or away from it, never touching.
Im gonna drop you a 6/10, cause Ive seen alot of your other work and been impressed by a few of your pieces, and even tried to replicate one of your effects without success. I think you can do better. Some minor touchups on this piece and it could easily hit 8 in a heartbeat.
*tries to strongarm Rek into doing a gfx trade* "need an avatar, stat!"

hehe, the sprite makes him look like a ferret

and it's still cute.
The changes you made were very close to what I had in mind Rek, I would still bring the sides of your sig down in brightness, try making a new layer and applying the image, place the layer on multiple mode, then burn the sides with a 15-20% strength til they look nice and dark in a gradual manner, then toggling the layer opacity to make it look uniform/get desired lighting. Totally up to you m8.

I limited myself to 1 minute and 2 layers for this adjust, if you want me to take it down then cool, but this is what I had in mind (without access to your PSD or altering your original images geometry

)

IMO you use the middle to much gets old and plain for me thats IMO
i was told that with art you use the whole piece not just background and a middle piece but PS is different then drawing/painting i guess
if you could try moving it more to the left not just smack in the middle that way the right isnt clustered like my sig xD
but idk much about ps so dont flip out on me about making computer artwork

art is art, despite means of generation.
for instance, in thedude sig ai posted awhile ago I utilized a balance of opposing points, something i learned way way back in my design and art theory classes.
