A while back i installed like 1975 fonts at once, I dont think i installed em the right way, I just copied and pasted in C:Window/Fonts, so in effect this slowed down my computer at least buy 200% b/c i have a total of 4.5k fonts, now I NEED to uninstall them all, BUT keeping the defullt windows fonts. I cant just go through 4.5k of fonts looking for the windows fonts not to delete them!! Please help me !!!!

Just Ask Someone Who hasnt messed with there Default Fonts to zip them and upload them to megaupload or somehting

i would but i have alot of extra fonts

i think you can kill just about all the truetype (.ttf i think) fonts.
most of the downloaded fonts are truetype and maybe 1 or 2 adobe.

im 99% sure of it. sort by type and kill the .TTF
edit: the truetypes with the blue icon, not the green. i think thats
one of the differences. im lookin it up atm.

ya i think its the *.TTF you can delete and *.OTF you must keep

Arent the default fonts also TrueType? Or OpenType? Im not sure, this is not my area of expertise...also my it lags my computer when ever I try to open the fonts folder

all OTF are standard. i think only 1 or 2 TTF are standard.

so i would probably delete all blue icons and leave the green icons.

i think ur right windows are open type! thnx! but how do i seperate true from opentype fonts?

either sort em, and if that cant be done, then make the view to details
and then sort em by filetype.

its kool man i jus deleted half of them now, ima finish 2morrow, thanks alot now my comp is back in the race

i download new fonts just about everyday lols thats why i was almost
sure the green icons were standards

here i made a rar file of the fonts i do use theyre pretty sick plus they have this like 10 or so rare graffiti fonts

eg this one

for my stuff (work and hobby) i go to http://www.themeworld.com a lot.
i normally swap styles completely so i need completely different fonts
