Well, I know I'm just being an ass, but anyway..
To have somewhat right proportions, the eyes you speak of will have to be at the height of that white stripe on the bandana...

They are behind the white strip of the bandanna, that's what I suggested :p

Purdy-purdy. Coloring with the Bar of Soap is a major pita...I remember it very well unfortunately.
