I tryed making the ripping-skin effect, but it didn't work so good.. My connection is weird atm, so I couldn't get any good brushes for that effect..

Yeah.....dont you? lol
I mean like some people dont, they just apply the c4d/render>smudge>some filter effects>plays around with the contrast/brightness, colour balance, etc>adds some finishing touches and done
some of them come out to be really amazing

I think using other peoples brushes is kinda... N00b sorry. No offence to those who do use them but you cant really say that its your work if you used someone elses creations in it.

I used custom brushes a few times, but pretty much only the soft round brushes..

i don't think enybody use those brushes without eny effects, brushes are just tiny tiny step of background. i usually brush 1 layer and then start adding diffrent effects to it

Do you want a good tip? - Take a soft round brush -> Brush with white or a good color where you want your light source (Go with the shadows) -> Linear dodge.. Like I did on this:

yeah i agree i haven't made 100% but i can share, and brush maker can have his 1% what he deserves

Almost every sig I make has the render cut by me.

Yeah, I know and im not saying otherwise but what im trying to say is that if you want to evolve than stop using downloaded brushes.
I have no problem with begginers using downloaded brushes I encurage it.

how did u get all ur other brushes in?
AtQ: C Drive>Program Files>Adobe>Phoshop CS (or something close to that)>Presets>Bruses
Put it in the brushes folder
