Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated, it looks too dull to me so anything to help spice it up would be great.

Thanks i changed it to .gif, i usually try to avoid gifs... makes it choppier looking.

I know gifs tend to give that edge, but you have to realize, there's still a good bunch of us that still use IE (I'd say at least 65-70%), and so the PNGs actually give the sig a much worse effect than just being a tad edgy.

well a comment on the bg is yes it is dull as you said. try to add more depth into it. usually you can use contrast to do this. and just mix between light and dark colors. the bigger the range of shades/colors, the better if they work together.
