Annoying bug

Well, recently I got a new PC so I installed Photoshop on it and copied all my renders, sigs etc. on it. But - as in life - something went wrong. I installed Photoshop but when I made a "New" the background was light greenish. I made some few scratches and saved it. When I opened it it showed that the backgrounsd was in fact white. But it's kind of annoying during the creation of a sig. So I tried everything and read a while about photoshop but I can't get that darn background to be white while while I'm in the "production stage". Anyone know how may I change it?

Super sry for double post =(, yes, for color mode, I was referring to RBG and so on, I'm not sure, but did you check your standards as well?

Yes I did set the background to be white. As to color modes - you mean CMYK and RGB stuff or just the color settings? I changed them to something else but still nothing changes :/

Are you able to find a "Set Defualt" button somewhere?
If so try that. And after installing did it request you to
restart your computer? Because normaly after installing
programs that are requires a restart wont function properly
so try restarting. Has this heppends with previous PS programs?
