Ok I've gone through a lot of tuturials but im still lost.
I'm trying to make a siggy by blending two of my favorite things: Full Metal Alchemist and Navyfield.
Here is what I have so far.

But I can't quite figure out how to blend them so they dont look like two pictures right on top of each other.
So far I have Background and Layer 1
I'm using Photoshop CS2 trial.
Any ideas?

What I did to blend in two pictures was to make one layer on top of the other and merge them down. Edward's layer must be on top of the plane to make it look smooth. But yeah thats all there is to it.

use on layer mask on top layer, apply gradient/black. feather both slightly, lower layer opacities. finally, use eraser on low opacity and flow to fix blending details.

Shimohime has gut it, put the stuka on top of the amnie thing, then on you layers palate you will see a little icon not the trash, not the new layer, not the layer styles, not the layer folder, but the layer mask its like a box with a circle in it (i cant show a picture cuz im at school at the moment). apply it to stuka layer then use ur gradient tool from black to white or white to black which ever use it and u will see the effect it makes (make sure your layer mask is selected not the layer itself when u do this), just mess with it til u get it the way u want it, u can use the blur tool or the eraser on low opacity to detail it up.
