What if once a week they had a new comic released?

We could get the best artists from the site together and make a comic-book like "Feiangs silk story" from silkroadonline.net lol.

would be a great idea also im sure ryoko could adapt a version of his screenshot script into the artist forum

and ryoko you said something about groups you could hav a comic artist group for mods and comic drawers to make it a weekly edition

Ooh! Can I be one of the pencil artist dudes? With my name in the credits for the idea and for drawing .

Then we could get together on MSN and E-mail and like, I send my .psd of the drawing and a basice color job, and all these older/more experienced digital artists do their fancy things to it. And since Im only 15 my line work may not be of the highest...Like. Requirement lol...(Plus I can't draw female characters for the life of me lmao.) So we need like 2 or 3 pencil artist and layout dudes, and then a few digital artists, for shadows, advance coloring, and all the effects. (Text effects included).


Thats what I had in mind anyway.

And just have like a nav thingy on the front page, like down where it says advertisement and theres all those little clickable images. linked images...So then someone clicks whatever it would say like "SRF Weekly Comic" and it takes them to another page of this site, that is otherwise like. inaccesible lol.... Then they can look at the newest comic, browse old ones, comment on the comics if they're logged on their account on srf. Alot like "Feiangs Silk Story" on silkroadonline.net. Almost exactly like that, except done by the fine fine members of the awesome SRF community.

Just my ideas.

Make a secret "SRF Weekly Comic Commitee"

Make the jobs we need, and the requirements. (Basically post one of your works and see if everyone agrees your suited for the job.)

Ooh can I make like a practice chart? Im gonna do that hehe.

Character Artist:
-Able to make clean, easy to scan, and easy to color in PS pencil work.
-Have to devote enough time to help finish one comic per week.

D.I.P (Digital Ink&Paint lol):
-Able to do great work on aforementioned Pencil Art. (Including color-balance and basice coloring principles.)
-Have to devote enough time to help finish one comic per week.

Advanced D.I.P (Which could definitely be the same guy who did the basic d.i.p just so you know.):
-Able to do fantastice PS work that really makes a piece stand out. Including, but not limited, to the following. Shadows, Highlights, Light Effects, Text Effects, Superior usage of filters, Superior usage of layers, and is consistent in this work.
And again, as always
-Have to devote enough time to help finish one comic per week.


Maybe get some script-writers, background design&layout people, maybe some flash animations for special events, Im thinking if were gonna do this lets not half-ass it lets make it a really good comic, at least for a while. Maybe do 10 comics, see how the forums react, and then proceed from there? hehe. Wow i really think alot.

I think they would be "announced" in General Discussion and OTL cuz thats where most posters...Post. lol. And then the links would all lead to some other page with the comic history and comments and all that stuff i talked about a few posts back.

Ok well, since I reaaaly really want to be a pencil artist for this project im drawing alot of SRO lately and all I can say is wow. SRO Is so hard to draw . So I made like a stylized version of SRO, and it's pretty cool. hehe...Well im gonna try scanning in my work laters maybe do a before/after ps thingy lol. Idk...........Well uhm.

and you gotta remember im only 15 so don't go making fun of my pencil work!!! lol!!!

If this will be a Team, I want to join as well. I still have alot to learn, but I do great with sketches/pencil drawings etc. I can sketch some and maybe scan a few pics for everyone to see =D

Yes guys i would say get drawing some stuff, most likely if this becomes a reality when choosing the "Team", Ryoko would ask you for some drawings so that he could have something to work on and choose the best suited for the "Team" in each possition.

Idea;
Artists make drawings. Artists are chosen on base of quality of drawings.
Graphical artists fill in/finish the drawings. GA's are chosen on base of the quality of their work.

So far this si the "funniest" little piece i've made.

It's a Big-eyed ghost talking to a water ghost and it goes like this.
