If you're one of those wonderful Venice players like me, I'd be happy to design a sig, guild icon, or any guild website logos or whatever for pretty cheap. Never more than 100k, usually less.
I bet you're wondering how we each prevent us scamming scamming each other, well that's simple. I design it and send you a super low quality encoding version that you'd be embarrassed to show in public and you pay me in game and I have no reason not to send you the full quality version
PM me with what ya want and any images you want included

I find it very harsh to call your self "The" greatest artist around.
Simply because there is no "best" in art.
Everyone has their own taste and everyone looks at art differently, this is not an opinion, but it is a fact.
Show some of your work before selling things or calling your self the best.

Well it's pretty easy to be the best when I'm the only artist for hire I could find on Venice but I am only an okay artist, there's nothing best about it but the price, lol Here's my awesome from scratch Runescape sig

Yeah, things go a lot better when you have graphics to start from instead of from scratch, lol.
can't post bitmap files so here's completely uglified jpg versions of guild emblems I've made

don't use any of them because a lot of them are currently in use by other guilds.
For most of my sigs I just throw them together in 10 mins and just don't give a damn in fact, that applies to a lot of my eiditing:

oh and here's just some strangeness I did when i was bored

and there's really just no excuse for this sig

but like I said, if you have images to start from, it's easier




but some from scratch stuff doesn't have to look good, it just has to have a good vision and humor to it


but my point is, if you hire me, it'll be fast and half decent for cheap with no scamming so come on, that's a deal

There's no need for that. Not everyone spends hours learning to use digital painting programs, nor is everyone able to design images to a professional standard. The first post was a little pretentious, sure, but that's no call for you to start insulting him. Simply, if you have nothing good or constructive to say, there is no reason for you to be posting here.

Nah, I think the advertisement rule is about companies and gold selling websites, stuff like that. People advertise that they want signatures all the time here, so I don't personally see anything wrong with someone advertising to make sigs. It's not like he's asking for money or something.

okay first of all, all my best work is still in my head cuz I'm lazy, duh. Either that or it's on my website or one I designed for a company, neither of which I can post here because it'd show where I live and stuff and I love you all but I don't want you visiting my house, lol (unless you bring good jerky)

But if I design any graphics for other ppl for a reasonable payment, I'd put actual effort into it and make it look really, really good! I guess I might have to do that for my own sig for good advertising. Speaking of advertising, I couldn't find anything specific in the rules area really about it.

Advertising is most effective when you show examples of your best work, rather than the things you whipped up in ten minutes. You can easily show the works from your website, simply upload them to imageshack.us first and then give us the links from there. No tracing back to their origins.

lol, if I don't want to post pics from the site even through photo hosts because they give away my name and where I live, why would I possibly want to post a link to the sites? But I will say, ipowerweb is only an okay host and Yahoo will just have you doing this while paying more money. Now I'm sure you're wondering how that possibly has anything to do with computer graphics design. I'll give you a hint and see if you can figure it out yourself I drew this in Illustrator:

Oh and I almost forgot to mention! I'm also a really really really good programmer. I made this program to view elements that are in in storage while you're away so when ppl ask at your stall or whatever, you don't have to go look. And before you even ask, no you can't have a copy unless you're in my guild because I don't want to encourage people to download and use SRO utilities because 99% just steal your password.

If you can manipulate a screenshot like that, why are you worried about your name and address being shown on images? Can't you just erase those bits from the picture, like you erased your character's name and model?

I don't know what you're talking about with ipowerweb and Yahoo, but like I said, just host the images on imageshack.us if you don't want to link them from your site. Where exactly is the problem with this...? Because I don't think I understand what you're worrying about.

And nice try with the elements thing. I can do stuff like that too, but it doesn't make me a programmer. It makes me "Pwnzor with Photoshop".

As for not posting my best work, IT'S THE COMPANY'S LOGO AND MY WEBSITE'S NAME'S LOGO YOU DUMBASS! And there's no other company called that in the world and no other website named the same as mine in the world. If I edited out their name, it'd just be a pretty background and a house or a pretty gradient.

Well that's a no brainer, nobody can register multiple domains under the same name. And why would your company steal another's name? Aren't they supposed to be "original", nobody's forcing you to post your best work or your website. Maybe you could work on something else to post so you don't have to show the website if you want to be that confidential about it.

Also this isn't a place to brag about your skills, ok you made a 3rd party program for SRO, who hasn't? But to tell everyone you made it, then bark that nobody can have it unless they're in your guild, seems a bit too conceited.. just stick to general topics.. don't try to impress everyone to gain acceptance, it creates a bad image for yourself.

Well I'm home and Camtasia records every part of the program except that window for some dumb reason (and FRAPS is only the directx game window, duh) and now that I'm using a better program I can't get back on the server, yay! But I'll get a video soon cuz I need one anyway
Update when four screen recording programs fail, I just plug the clone dual monitor output into my TV tuner card's input and record it the hard way (get it, hard as in hardware ) here's a wonderfully blurry example of it running:

P.S. it's not against the rules either because it runs on top of SRO, doesn't interact with it directly, and doesn't give my character a n unfair advantage. Yes it gives me an advantage but so does the Calculator program, that's not what they meant.
