Ok I have decided to base my back mural on an oriental design and the SRO 3rd degree garment (male)seems like it would make a good character design for the centeroiece of my mural. If anyone has any good drawings of a character in that style of an outfit please share them.

I'll take pics of my back later tonite so I can show exactly how much room is left on my back.

x] I'd love to do this. But I wouldn't do it for free. Not unless you want a half-assed job. :]

Well I don't have any drawings in the 3rd degree garment, but I still have one from a "draw your character" thread awhile back.

But don't post later with this thing etched into your skin lol, I don't know if I'd want to be responsible for that. :P

Moogie do you have any portfolios of previous art you've done? I wouldnt feel right commisioning a drawing unless I knew beforehand your style was something I was looking for.

*Cringes* x] There's some good and some... not so good in there.

I've not done an oriental style before. Closest I've come to it is probably this. I've always been interested in designing tattoos, though. I do mostly digital art, sketches or full coloured pics. And lots of texturing. But in tattoos I have very little experience. For such a large and visible area as the back, it's probably best you find a professional to do a real decent job of it. :)

Oh, and you have to take a picture when you finally get it!

The final drawing will definately be made by my tattoo artsist he has amazing skills but he lacks the time to sit down with me lately and work out specific poses and designs.

What I was hoping for was a "rough sketch" type pic or something similar just a few in game pics or things people have already drawn to give him a few ideas of what I want.

the ONLY pic he will draw is the final one so I have to make sure he knows exactly the design/style/pose for the character. Custom tattoos are a major pain when trying to get the idea from your mind to paper unless you are able to do the drawing yourself. Most of my current ink is freehand work done by my tattoo artist, basically I walk in hand him money and he draws whatever I tell him directly on my skin. No patterns or drawing on me other than going straight with the gun on my skin.

I guess I will start digging thru screenshots all over to find a combination of garments and poses to start off..

Thank you for the time

Rat
