k im trying a new style of sig's, and dont flame me or whatever, i'd appreciate constructive criticsm, im just messing around, I saved it as a psd, and the way the layers are set-up I could easily take out that sim-card bg. However, I like the way the bow and the thief chick look. The thief chick render originally held a lunar blade, and the bow was originally being held horizontally by a totally different chick in a totally different render.

So don't worry about that bg it's not permanent, but I think it's got some charm to it at any rate. And no, Im no rockshmo when it comes to ps, but I don't think my stuff isn't half bad...

Im trying a new style of sigs because everyone and their grandma on this site has sigs that are just bg's with great usage of custom brush sets. Anyone who is a graphic designer//ps user knows what I mean. (there's no way im a graphic designer, im a young teenager.)

I figured I'd make a new kind of sig for this my usage on this site, but I seriously need to work on the technique. Now I realise most of you will hate this sig, (aside from the renders maybe), but give me sometime, and maybe I'll get something good.





So I'll revise the bg later I have to go play sro now.

(oh btw thanks rockshmo for saving all those renders to rockshmo-neon.net or w/e I can't remember).


p.s. my fav sig sizes are 350x100-150. pixels. (obviously pixels duhh.)

I won't comment on the sig, but I will comment on the idea.

I love it and I applaud you! People come on here and post their tutorial/brush download signature then people oo and awe. People that have never opened photoshop are amazed by the generic style. However, I believe, that something like you have there takes much more work. Because, there's no easy way of doing it. You look at the tools, you think for a minute, and you attack the canvas. As opposed to downloading a precutout image of a character, and clicking with a downloaded brush a couple times (elistist would then use filters/layer styles here)

yeeeeeeeee good job, its really really eye catching, but is the bg on the right side supposed to be black or white?

on the right side of the render?
its supposed to be black because i think all white would be too plain.


im gonna tweak it some more and upload it as my sig for the site. so you'll be able to see it all the time. ^_^

I wouldn't necessarily strive to be like me, sure I know my way around PS but to be completely honest I'm one of those people dom described.

I would make my own damn tutorials and styles if I had the time but for now it's easier to follow someone else's idea and alter it to my liking.

Stick to what you're doing now, there's no greater feeling than creating your own sig with your own style (even if someone else has something similar) and seeing that people actually like it.

I just meant, have the wealth of photoshop knowledge you have.

I like the fact that I just taught myself just now how to get rid of that default yello outer glow of doom. (AWESOME!!!)

I really like how the text on my sig turned out.

The black lines/boxes around "pure strength" and "fire archer" bug me. I can't see where they begin or end, and neither of them goes all the way across the sig so they don't look like just horizontal lines. It makes your sig look chopped off on the left and it's distracting. To be honest, although like dom I appreciate your idea, the sig itself just seems kind of confused to me, like you don't quite know what you want, or maybe just not how to get there.

Perhaps you'll enjoy my lvl 3x's sig more? Hehehe. time will tell.
