what brushes do you use to make your bg??

or do you use some ancient ps technique handed-down only to a select few...?

I use these 'soft-grunge' brushes some guy named kooliop showed me.

handed down from a friend, cant tell >.<

but i can tell u this, keep looking in deviant art, and you'll find something that fits you

Wow, amazing sig. I love the background especially, I'm guessing it's render manipulation + filters instead of brushes.

If you blended your renders you could pop out some awesome looking sigs.. if you want I could PM you a little basic technique or a link to some blending tutorials or something.

To me, it looks like grunge brushes w/ a paper texture on overlay. I've that before (brush and texture), and u can get a similar result w/ that.
