I think maybe you could cut the whole image to simply be like in the 2nd pic. the first pic seems too empty and the lower part becomes slightly repetitive.

otherwise... maybe shade that highest point in the black thing a bit darker for extra effect?
increase contrast so colours seem more powerful??

I'm curious though.
Do you actually have something particular in mind when you makes these pieces or do just f*ck around in that 3D rendering program you use to generate these images.

Good as usual but really "simple" compared to your previous work. That being said, think I'm going to rock a "white-ish" wallpaper + white dock.

98% of the time I have something in mind. It usually changes though. No 3D program involved. Ai and Ps all day.

My workflow is faster on Windows (I also prefer it over OS X)
But I prefer the look of a mac.

Cinema 4D is used to make C4Ds.
