After years of hiatus I finally got back to photoshop and this is what I came up with:

I try to incorporate simple elements within most of my work to give it this minimalist feel and to keep it as clean as possible while still giving my audience something pleasing to look at. What do you think?

no blending, no colour balance... not tempted to say the placement of the elements is particularly good either. I think you'll need a bigger warming up :/
for a better minimalistic feel you can probably remove 2-3 of the bubbles, as long as you keep the one around the pokemon. give the pokemons a shadow. I also suggest choosing better colours for the lines. maybe add some kind of glow to the lines from behind...

Reminds me of Hostages pokemanzz sig.
Seems wip, needs more elements.

I honestly don't remember making one...
It actually reminded me of a sprite tag Milly made from back in the day.
I'm not to fond of the colour scheme--I see traditional complimentary colours but I also see colours that don't seem to be working well, namely the brown hues. The flow seems weird too because you've ended it towards the middle of the tag instead of having it stretch it's way towards your focal. Which seemed, again, odd. There are a few more things but I understand that it takes a few tries before you can get back into the swing of things so I say keep at it and post again.
