Saving a picture (What format should I use?)

Post by Shomari »

3 Stars = Best
2 Stars = Avg
1 Stars = Only if you really want.

X = Don't use
Check = Use

Spoiler!

I found this really helpful so I thought I'd share it.

Nice one. :sohappy:

As a rule of thumb, I never use JPG format on any of my work =/ I usually go with PNG.

I use .jpg for online use, and I use .tiff for working on 3d model textures.

Yep. Had to delete most of my .tif files and the RAW that I don't use. Most of the retouched photos are kept as 25% resized copies. At least now I do. I got tired of working with the 100% versions after a while.
