My girlfriend's mother saw that on my facebook when she saw my girl's laptop screen; she thought I was smoking crack.
That was new year's day. 3 hours of sleep after a long night of drinking. friend of mine missed her early morning flight. woke up in my cousin's apartment and they don't have a single water filter in the place. i mean, NY water is pretty clean but still... =/ The only thing to drink was beer (that tropicana is empty). Good times.

#15 update
Since buying a water housing for my Canon is a bit too....expensive as Farking hell (not to mention I'm still struggling to find a decently-priced Rokinon Fisheye in NY - around $150), I'm considering playing with this baby:

Already gave my girlfriend a Fisheye 1&2 but I'm probably gonna end up buying 1 for myself.
(Also some advanced swimming lessons so I don't end up drowning after taking blurry shots)

Erm...
That's actually my cousin and his wife. I was playing wedding photographer. I have a bunch of other photos from their wedding but that one's my favorite.
Someday, but not anytime soon. Girlfriend and I aren't rushing to get married yet. Thanks though.

Thank You =D
Since NY's starting to get all gloomy again, I might visit the same location seen on picture #3 this Friday (if the weather cooperates). This time, gonna come there with a wide angle lens and a tripod. =)
Overrated but who gives a rat's ass.

I'll take that as a compliment.
It's mostly my girlfriend since I doubt she'd entertain the idea of me asking a friend or another girl to model for me. I could but I don't and I won't. Unless I actually became a professional photographer of some sort. For now, it's just a hobby.
But I'll go browse through the gazillion f
ucking pictures in my folder. There's a number of good shots of other people but never had the time to play around with them. I'll try if I find some extra time.

Goddamnit I wish I had more free time. Really wanna start playing around with costume, make up, and picking/creating the proper setting.
I'm experimenting to get better colors. Something along the lines of:
http://hakanphotography.deviantart.com/ ... -165346540Is it just me or does the lack of blur on the background make it more appealing? Something about the picture captivates me - makes me think that if I could somehow touch the picture, it's gonna be like chalk and oil. Maybe some aspects of HDR photography came into play? I really can't imagine that it's something as simple as Lens Correction, Hue/Saturation, and a Gradient Map. Or an I overestimating it?

Mild HDR. Low aperture. Peculiar setting.

That's what I was thinking. The clouds in the picture are pretty good indications the HDR (I think?) then comes the silky colors. Ahh....the curiosity is killing me.

So, you wanna be like a professional photographer? Maybe something with fashion? Apply for Vogue! Maybe you'll even meet Anna Wintour!

Until I'm financially secure or a good opportunity presents itself, it's going to remain as a hobby. I wouldn't mind hiring models or spending some money to improve my gear or go to different places but one at a time for now. Besides, I got a crapload of stuff to learn before I can actually call myself a photographer.
