so, all those programs on my desktop (Photoshop, Silkroad online, Mozilla Firefox etc.) have different icon (Ps has the blue box, sro has the camel pic and so on). How can I make my own icon and place it on a program, that instead of PS blue box thing I could see something totaly self made or something, I need to use somekind of different file type and save to where?
Now just try to figure what i asked, and im not sure is the Artists corner right place for this, but since you do that desktop moding things here i thought it would be right place for it...

Do you want Icons or a different desktop metaphor? You can get a dock like Mac's have
here.
Or you can create your own desktop icons (64x64 pixels, i think) and save them as .ico files. Right click the shortcut on the desktop>shortcut tab>change icon.

Program Files>Adobe>Photoshop>Plug-ins>File Formats
Stick it in thar!!!
(Don't put the text docs in, you don't need them.)
For some reason it won't show up as a file type, but if you type the extension it will save as a .ico file.

I have messed around with my Ps pretty much, and I have no idea is it CS4 or CS3 anymore, since files are used to open with CS3 but when I launch Ps it says its CS4 -.-

This is my file structure. I renamed it "ICO" but that didn't affect anything.
