I listen to pretty much everything except country, but when I'm working with PS I listen to Shrift and only Shrift.
Anything else and i get headaches. I play it so that i can barely hear it, so it doesn't get old, of course.

I can't listen to the same songs over and over even if they are on shuffle. I make albums last by playing them really softly on shuffle. It allows me to keep focused and still be slightly entertained.

It's how I made Shrift last so long (2 years now?). I've been listening to a lot of Dave Matthew's Band lately, but I foolishly played it too loud while playing Spore. Fortunately, I think if I lay off, I might be able to listen again sometime soon.
