Oh snapz dude. There's like so much depth that drop shadow makes it look like it's popping off the forum page!!!11

Ok, sarcastic dick aside . Realize that things like curved edges, pop ups and drop shadows and looked , by most of the gfx community anywhere outside of an anime forums, as amateurish. Not to say don't use them just watch how you do and incorporate them as such.

As for the sig itself, it's nice and clean. However you have two focals both of which don't seem relevant to one another so it destroys whatever theme-if any-you would have had. So either get rid of the head or blur/play with it to the point where it pops the other.

Other then that good start. Far better than most of the firsts I've seen here so consider yourself ahead of the pack.
