Few PS questions

Ok, finaly managed to get Photoshop (CS4) and now I have few questions:
How do you make glowing text?
If you have image from rendersite, do you have save it on comp or can you copy it for none backround, since when I tried to copy image from planetrenders.net, it had black backround, on GIMP it still has no backround
How do you install new brushes/fonts?
what are keys to Scale and Move image?
How can you move layers?
How do you make Glowing Pen tool line (or w/e it is)
How do you make frames for Sigs?
More questions comming later

Double click you text layer and layer style window will pop up. Then just choose "outer glow" and configure your glow settings the way you want.If you have image from rendersite, do you have save it on comp or can you copy it for none backround, since when I tried to copy image from planetrenders.net, it had black backround, on GIMP it still has no backround
Yes you have to download the renders to you computer. And I would recommend it anyway.How do you install new brushes/fonts?
You can instal new brushes by first downloading them and then copy them to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Brushes. You can install fonts the same way you always do. Download them and then copy them to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
what are keys to Scale and Move image?
I don't get the question.How can you move layers?
Hold and dragHow do you make Glowing Pen tool line (or w/e it is)
Same way you did glowing text.How do you make frames for Sigs?
Select -> select all -> select again -> Modify -> border -> use the bucket tool to fill your border.More questions comming later

Best I've seen from you IMO.
To apply a image press ctrl+alt+shift+e on a new layer or just take Image -> Apply Image
Clipping mask tutorial ->

Flow?

For the example, look at Dumbos sig, the shoe is pointed at a certain direction, and the effects behind the shoe is going with the same direction.
It gives a feeling that the signature has some movement in it.

You should try something else than anime renders all the time.

Well, I tried Gaming Render instead (Real Life renders are still too hard for me

) and practiced text placement a little bit more...

Version 2, I tried to add more depth by creating color on borders (I ruinded it again

)

I should download more fonts

Well I have to say that your photoshop sigs are already much better. I think you should not focus on text so much at this point. Focus on the sig and leave the text so when you know more about techniques you become better at making text.

you tend to have a lot of stuff over the face of your render. try having the face clear but still have a little depth going.

Apply it as a clipping mask to the layer you want
