People in the sig rate thread seem to like my current one, so I'd like to ask the professionals here too. CnC plz?

PS: sorry for making so many threads, but I don't feel like I deserve an own art thread just yet.

-Edit-
I made a V2 from scratch, in a similar fashion I did CeLL's sig, but I don't think this turned out to be any good. Nonetheless, CnC pleez.

My Opinion:
Ok, first let's start from flow, i mean there is none of it just random blured c4d in radom Spot. It's over contrasted at some parts, Low quality in some spots.
Effects, there are very little amount of effects (Only some sparcles). You should try to add some nebula in other works of yours. Then you need to use Color and dodge tool.
Sharp your image after you done.
There is non light source
/That's my opinion.

I though this was enough. Also, the flow was supposed to be in the direction of the sword, and the large c4d technically covering 1/3 of the sig is supposed to show this. Just imo. I have to agree it is overcontrasted though.

I'll show you this,
Spoiler!

Suggestions:
1. Next time choose smaller c4d, next time do it to "fit" image.
2. Light source should be 100 pixels soft round brush (oOr more)
3. Blur background and play with Burn And dodge tool.
I'm looking forward and waiting for new works, good luck

the stock kind of just sits there.. your attempt at blending is lost due to the background having very little depth.. in the end it looks like you just started.. so keep trying.. i recommend not using any downloaded brushes for a while.. practice with textures.. filters are great

Why the hell would the light source be at the top, look at the lighting on the render.

Indeed, the light source is in the right position, just not executed the best way.

Been going through threads I missed over the past weeks and, well, this is what happens when you give people nothing but goody two shoe, sugar and spice and everything nice, type of of "cnc". But I digress. He'll collapse under his own ignorance sooner or later.

Little tip: try to avoid placing C4Ds on top of renders face. Other than that it's not bad at all. Just keep practicing and ignore NS.
