this is the website template that i created, so this is how the site is gonna look, any ideas on how to improve this?
the original

EDITED:
i changed stuff around, but i didnt save it right so ignore the inconsistency with the menu bar
i looked around and found that most sites setup similar to mine dont have a clear content box so i decide to change it
the biggest change is the fish, but im not sure i like it
and i messed around with the background too but didnt change the lines yet cuz i dont know how to so gonna save that until when everything else is finished
edited versions
another edit:

basically just the lines, the only prob i have with it now is that it looks like the quiznos logo -.-
Coded

Red and green lines look little "flat". Cant really explain it. They are missing the "boooom". lol
Other than that good job!

Put email a bit higher unless nothing will be covering it.

The e-mail buttons is hidden.
Plus, you need to figure out the style you want it to be in. The top, with the brighter colors looks a bit fairytale-ish, whilst the bottom is way to dark. Same goes for the content blocks. It doesn't look right. They could merge, yet they don't.
Also, when designing, keep the code in mind, how am i gonna build this, right now, i'd never want to.

Shading. Dumbo is right, those lines need something. I think they need to look like tubes instead of just lines, if you get what i mean.

at first the footer was going to be one of those "fairytale-ish" fishes but i couldnt find a good one so i choose this one instead,
content block... i have no idea
you might be right about the coding but i wanna challenge my self

ill try to get a 2nd version done 2morrow and see how everyone likes it

i dont really care about the email thing anymore, its not a button its just a decoration for the tab, and there will be some padding when i make the site so it wont be really be a big prob
first post updated again, hopefully this will be the second to the last update

Your menu is floating, which looks weird.
You should make it like the bottom of the floating island..
