It isn't so good for a 1st sig but also not so bad. It's a bit blurred though.

So I know this is your first sig and its a lot better than my first but ill tell you what you need to work on.
First, you dont want to start making monotone tags, that is a tag with simply one colour. They tend to look dull and bland. So try to incorperate a few other colours.
Secondly, your focal point. The focal point in the first one is pritty fair but try staying away from centering your focal point. Tags like theese usually end upp looking mediocre.
Now last one is depth, what you want to do is blur the backround and sharpen up the focal point, in your case the heads/faces.
Again I do realise this is your first so dont take this the wrong way.

No offence taken at all.
Thanks for your advice, we I should've blurred only the background, I still don't know how to sharpen the render, but I'll get into it some other time.

Under the smudge tool is the sharpen tool, left click and hold on the smudge/blur tool in the toolbar to the left and its there.

I've been looking for a decent tutorial around the Internet, but so far nothing "that good" came up. Also, for some reason, last 2 renders I DLed had black Blackground ;s
wtf! every render I download now is appearing with a black blackground. Shit :\

If you are taking them from planetrenders, you have to press on it and have an account, then you save.

Here is a very good gimp sig tutorial that is rather easy to follow
http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/full-signature-tutorial-t5880.htmlI really suggest that you get photoshop however, its much more superior then any free image program right now.

Yeah, but I heard Photoshop is kind of hard to start with, I want to "improve" a little my sig making skills on GIMP, then I'll consider using photoshop. (:

I would recommend getting Photoshop ASAP. It really isn't that hard to use, but you have to get used to it's interface. As with many professional programs, the interface can be very intimidating. Lot of buttons, icons, etc.
Take the time and go through a handful of tutorials on how to use the basic tools, filters, and how to properly use layers. Once you have a few tools down, and have a decent grasp on how things work in Photoshop, it is only a matter of time and patience before you start creating wonderful things.
http://www.hongkiat.comhttp://www.noupe.comhttp://www.tutorialized.comAll of these sites can give you great tutorials and can give you a place to start. Some of the tutorials may be harder than others, but if you can tackle a harder one (it gives step-by-step instructions) then you will remember the tools you used and be able to apply them elsewhere in a later project. The key is taking the time to learn. Skill will come with practice.

Thank you. But isn't photoshop like 2.000 euro or something like that?
I'll have to "crack" it?

Its not allowed to speak of cracking programs illegally so sadly torrents will be the only hint we would be able to give.
