I like it but I think that the background is too dull and empty.
The render is good though, and I like what you did with the border. ^.^

When calling something oversharpened, be sure to know what that looks like. There's actually no sharpening at all going on there.
Good work lava, good to see you again.
I love the two-color conjunction there, brings it to life.
