Nothing to do with SilkRoad now, please don't shoot me.

Am I the second girl on the forums now? Moha.
But OK... I'm planning on making some art about SilkRoad soon, cos you can get lots and lots of inspiration from that game, but this'll have to do for now then... it's old but it's the only one I have on my comp:
I know it's far from perfect, but hell, I never took any lessons or shit. The only thing I got is this pencil (very small by now) and a lot of paper. Just experimenting... don't shoot me?

Lol yeah, it kinda looks like the nose of Michael Jackson, but I don't really know how to make it better without screwing it up entirely.
But I think SilkRoadpeoplethingies will be more easy. After all... they don't have "real" faces.

Nice, it looks like you have a great feel for proportions and posing!
I know you mentioned it's old, but just incase you're looking for some constructive feedback, I have some tips about drawing hair if you're interested.
Firstly, more natural hair comes with more natural strokes. Try to make long,
continuous lines, even if you need to pick up the pen from the paper every now and then. They don't have to be literally completely unbroken lines. But my point is, no zig-zagging with the strokes. Stroke in one direction only, and always downwards away from the scalp.
This also goes for shading on the hair. For darker areas, just add more strokes. It is also a very good idea to take a sharpened eraser and create stroke highlights aswell- just a few, but enough to really give it that extra sense of realism.
And, as far as shading other non-hair surfaces (like skin and clothing) goes, use the flat of your pencil- not the tip. Try to hold the pencil as horizontal to the page as you can, as it really helps create a 'shadow' rather than an area of visible lines.

I was wondering the very same thing.
You have skills, you should do something with those skills!!!
Really, it's a gift.
And who cares if it isn't perfect? Did you look arround, I havn't seen a person who is perfect. To paint a perfect human being is painting something unreal
