Ive never dona a space sig before but it did sound cool so I gave it a go.

All planets were made by me.

on this particular sig, the biggest issue is your text. check this out for some help, and always always always keep text away from edges, or completely over them. Its a design rule thats okay to be broken, but you never want people to have to guess whether or not you meant to break it.

SG youre learning alot very quickly, grats! Have you thought of signing up over at techgfx? I think you could gain alot, expecially considering you seem enthusiastic with your gfx. As far as the darkness issue, when you save out compression happens, if youre getting too much light or a washed out result come render time, just darken it up a bit in your favorite way

thanks, a quick contrast adjustment helped me out a lot. irritating that i cannot get the same results in my working space as i do inmy presentation space... does the fact that i used a .png this time have anything to do with it? any other comments / criticisms for me?

also, i did sign up at techgfx yesterday (it was the only way i could view the clipping mask tut you sent me lol). i didn't have much chance to troll around, but maybe that's something i need to make time for. woot for 2 days off in a row!
