Yesh sure,
Basically, Logotypes are all about how to convey any Company's motto/aim/nature whatever you call it.
Today world is of web 2.0 which means gloss gradients and reflections xD

It doesnt matter how many elements you put into it unless it looks clean and is able to convert graphic into words, a logo should be like.. A company can use it even without the name, it should be unique and catchy, just like Apples logo, they started to use ONLY Apple after a while and not writing the name, well that worked pretty tightly eh

So basically look around some Web 2.0 logos. Also the fonts for it are very sleek and clean, well thats how the logo turn outs to be in the end, or I should say "the logo SHOULD turn out in the end"

Logo should not be messy or of random colors or elements, which just makes it uneffective for any company and can lowers its rep.
