i don't like PS besides i like GIMP for its plug-ins and it is not one huge window.

plus i used this as the background http://mcgonnigle.files.wordpress.com/2 ... htning.jpg resized it to 420 x 150 then i Gaussian blurred it to 40.i also put the render in 2 layers and Gaussian blurred one to 20.

a black border in overlay setting

to get the one on the 16th use the "stroke selection" do 9.5 black then 7.5 white then lastly do 5 black. then set the layer to overlay (for gimp not PS)

Same here. I was looking through a bunch of PS tutorials and effects and I kinda mixed them all up according to what I have in mind.

Already mentioned that you whored out a c4d's. This white effect is way too big, you should have made it comming from the back with normal 100% opacity and smudged it with (10% or so) hardness.

The pen tool: you should have used it to make effect of lines comming from certain point (in 17th sig you good nice effect comming out of hand it's looks nice but you should have to continue it with pen tool lines).

Well and background, your techinique is good but next time dublicate background layer, one make gausian blur and other leave as it is just reduce opacity.

This criticizm goes to 17th and 18 sig only. Don't get me wrong.

In conclusion all i can say that you're getting way better than your first sig. I am happy for you

Look at the center of sig and it's there. Effect is comming from the hand (little light bolt). You could make which lines effect out of there.

did You knew, that there exist GFX related forums, right? This place have not much artist and I believe they registered at some GFXing forums as well and getting better there. So if You really'd like to "learn" something register at specified-topic forum and you get objective criticizm. GL
