How Do You Blend

ive looked up a couple of tutorials and ect. and i still dont know how to blend would any pros like to provide any assistance?

Smudging, distortions, brushing, making it so the render is a part of the sig rather then just slapped on. Follow tutorials, i'm going to make a tutorial today so i'll post that later and you'll see what I mean. If you catch me on aim or xfire or msn i'll help you out if you'd like. <3

A simple tip is to get the render in as soon ass possible and when you add effects, add it to the whole not just the backround, you can then erase parts of the effect covering the render but not all of it. Usually you dont want the render to be "clean" when your done.

If you take a look at my sig ive covered the render with shapes to blend her in and to position the focal point closer to the render.

There are easier ways to blend like erasing parts of the render, smudging parts of it or brushing over it, so adding a lightsource that touches the render is also a type of blending.
