So today i * ahem * aquired >.> photoshop cs3 extended.

Aside from using microsoft paint i have no prior experience with image editing/creating.

Do you guys have any advice on how to learn to use photoshop? Should i google photoshop totorials? Just expirement with random bottons until i figure it out?

How did you guys get started?

first learn from some tuts there are some here in SRF its in the sticky post on top these will help you out for beginning.

Once you've mastered the tuts for beginners thry using the ones in tech-gfx.net there are tuts there that will knock your block off!

Please wait a day or two before you start diving in. I will be providing some tutorials here very soon that will teach you how to learn Photoshop basics (Tools, Hotkeys, Techniques) correctly the first time, so as not to develop 'bad' habits via winging it or taking step by steps.

Gimme a bit of leeway my plate is extremely full right now and Im doing the best I can.

ok, ill wait. I used Avalanche's tutorial to make one sig...i just couldn't resist trying my hand at it. i wont make any more until you post your tutorial.
