Rate my first Signature

I've been using photoshop for a little while, but this is my first time I've made a signature.

I tried to stray away from usual signature styles and went for a more vector oriented style that had smooth colors and also had one of my favorite characters caster.

Hope you like it, please provide constructive criticism where necessary.

yeh, it is my first one, but i put a lot of effort into it.
did some research on other signatures and also spent a while looking for some stylish brushes that would make it look good.

in the end it came out better than i thought it would and was pleased.

+ blending
+++ there is depth-- tooons of depth
+ good colors
+ flow

i have absolutely no complaints and if this is seriously ur first.... damn ur thirds gonna be nice!

Wow... 9.5/10

I didn't add the .5 because no-one is perfect.
There's always something you can fix, although on this one, I can't seem to find it.

Thank you for your responses, I am going to have to try even harder from now on (especially the third!).

Also thank you for your warm welcomes to SR Forum.
I was told by my friend that this had a really good artist corner so I made my way over here and found alot of awesome signatures and I felt compelled to try one myself.
And after all your great responses I think I'll have to make this my signature and stick around the SRF artist corner for a while longer.

(note: originally the text was going to be in the lower right hand corner but because of a warning by my friend I moved it, or he said I would be eaten by Riz.
In the end it was for the better, so thanks Riz for the indirect advice.)

LOL. Rizla's been here for, what? Less than a month. But somehow, some way, he's become an integral part of the AC here... I mean, really.

People are quoting him, being all like, "OMG WHEN RIZLA COMES HE'S GOING TO FREAK ABOUT THE TEXT!" You know? Hehe. The AC just wouldn't be the AC anymore without Rizla...

OT: Stellar, stunning, amazing, awesome. A 9.9/10 for me, but only because I've seen better - once. Wow. Just, wow. For your first attempt... I'm just shocked. Can't wait to see what you'll roll out for us in the future.

Funny thing is, he is actually like that..

He absolutely hates my Regular Sig.... But, It helps you with constructive criticsm.. (I need to find a dictionary, there are spelled wrong, I know it)

Well at least I'm not on his bad side... yet.
I just hope I can get some pro pointers from him and everyone in the community.

(the only reason I know about him is because my friend raved on about him continuously, emphasizing the fact that his signatures are awesome.)

very interesting topic

Im glad to know my presence in the AC is a positive one.

overall not bad, I think depth could use alot of improvement, colors are nice, I think you used too may different types of vector shapes. text is nicely placed.

Thanks for the input riz, some criticism was needed and I need some so that I can strive to do better for my next attempt at a signature.

I'll have to start thinking of a concept now, and also ways to improve the depth in my signatures.
Will hang around and get back to AC with another signature when I get around to it.

Hope you all have a good 4th of July, I'm in Australia, so I don't really know what it is, though I'm sure it's an important holiday.

It is caster but a little different from the one you usually find "I think" (I haven't actually played this version of the game because it hasn't been translated).
It is different because this is from the second game in the Fate series, Fate/hollow ataraxia, so I'm not sure if it's a different person or maybe it's just a doujin that drew her differently.

Unfortunately the source of the render I don't know.
So it could be an officiall wallpaper drawing, or a wallpaper done by a fan from where I extracted her from.

Hope that helps, and if you haven't watched Fate/stay night you will probably thoroughly enjoy it if you do! (also actually getting the game and the translation patch is even better).

Well, just thought I should tell you, since it's actually a pretty important Holiday over here in America.
July 4th, or Independence Day, is when we here celebrate our independence from Great Britain - it's not the actual day we won the American Revolution, but it's the day that we signed the Declaration of Independence, and is when we considered ourselves officially free.
Just... information that could possibly come in handy in the future. Can never have too much information, you know.

And yes, we enjoy our day off, hehe. No work today!
