I have to say this everytime, but don't take my opinion too seriously, because I'm not a PS, or even drawing Artist. So this is just what I think, as a person from the general populace. Others here in the AC will give you more specific advice. :)

However, I think that the font is out of place. You're using Comic Sans, aren't you? And it just doesn't have any balance, IMHO. Looks a little like everything's shifted to the right side.

All I can say. Certainly better than I could do with my second try. Good luck! :)

Don't worry. The nice people here in the AC would be glad to help you, I'm sure. If you have any specific questions, go ahead and list it out here. Other than that, they'll give you tips and help to improve your current one, once they start waking up. (It's only 7:07 AM here, anyways. :P)

Try and find some tutorials because not only do you get a nice looking sig in the end (hopefully), you also get to understand what all the steps are for.

I would HIGHLY suggest just foregoing the fonts for now, you have plenty of other things to work on, just leave text out and work on your images.

oh and this is a funny from bancomicsans.com :D

Oh and just a funny tidbit -- the man who made comic sans made it for a Microsoft children's program, and publicly apologized for creating it after it gained popularity :D (comic sans is the joke/most hated of the design community)

SOmewhere there is a tut for user bars on this forum... I use Paint Shop but that tut was good enough for me to translate it from PhotoShop. User bars are user bars cause they have a kind of uniform appearance. Yours is a little off.

And you can so see the edges of your render, that white outline near the underside of his arm. That has gotta go. lol

*Shudder* The background is heinously blunt. Doesn't fit with the render IMO.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better, the background is much 'smoother' and the color blends. However, you can do more with the background as there are a lot of empty spaces where your background shows, and that leaves room for more work.
