How to host signatures
I know there have to be other signature challenged people out there.
I'll come clean and admit that only with the past 6 months have I ever used photobucket. Past signatures I've had have been hosted for me by others.
The question is: Where is a good and free place to host a signature (where you won't get the stupid little red x or run out of bandwith)? Also how exactly do you do it. If you can make a good guide it will probabaly be sticky worthy.
Remember there are people out there that don't do this often (like me).

I think we know about the site, but not what to do once you get there. There are many options and links on the page once you upload. How long do they stay active for, etc.
As I said there are people out there who don't do this every day. Posting a link with no explanation is like telling someone to use the search function, not always the most helpful idea.
I was hoping for a bit of a guide that I could sticky.

klick on that link.. then you have a page with yellow frog on the left to
and on right side od the site is option line 'browse'
klick on it and look for the img what you need to upload ...
then...if you have found it then klick open and then there is an option like 'host it!'
just klick on that 'host it!' button and vuola
after a little waiting you should have adresses
and a small bold blue text 'show image' ...the most sure way is... to klick on it and copy paste the link (-what you should have in the adress bar

Sorry.
Ok, first go to http://www.imagehack.com.
Now browse your pc klicking that button.
NOTE: I'm Dutch so at my pc it says: Bladeren, if you're english it says browse i guess.
After u chose your image you wanted to host, klick the "host it" button.
Ok now you'll get a page like this, then klick on the minimized image you uploaded.
If done correct, you now see your image a bit bigger (it might be a little minimized, klick once to maximize). Now the tricky part:
Rightklick the image and press the lowest button on the menu. (I don't know the translation sorry)
Now you'll see a URL if you know what it is, copy that and paste it where you want. (your signature or in a reply)
Select the URL and press the IMG button, next to the URL button.
I don't know when the images get deleted, i never had that problem.
Hope this was helpfull.

step 1:
browse your file. the filename can not have any spaces.
check the box; you agree to the ToS.
click "Host image"
step 2:
for putting the pic on this forum, there are 3 options.
1) for putting a link to your image on the forum, copy and past the
code behind "direct link" into your post.
2) for putting a thumbnail that links to your full sized image when
somebody clicks it, put the "forum code for embedding (1)" in your
post.
3) for showing your whole image in your post, copy the "Direct link"
code between in your post.
3) is also the way to put your sig in your profile. make a sig,
upload it and put the "Direct link" between and
voila, you have a sig beneath your posts.
You have now put your picture on the forum.
