Sig request rules.

Post by Ryoko »

Need a set of sig request rules.

Throw down some ideas and comments, and I will post a 'Sig Request Rules' sticky.

May or may not include minimum post count, description, etc.

Keep it reasonable.

I already knew Passion... lol I knew her from Tavern.

OK so maybe 100 is a bit steep. What about 50 then.

Better.

Now, this could encourage people to spam to bring up their post count.

But at least for a reason.... they do that to bring up their post count already for....no reason.

LOL. Both of which "we kill we kill!"

A list of 'desired' idea elements is good. -Cap Obvious

I think you should let people make a shop, and if you approve, sticky it. This way people can make their own rules for it.

Also you could add the credits mod, and the shop where we can buy 4week gold tickets for 3 creds :D:D

I dont need a specific list of desired elements. Id rather know what they DONT want. I need room to move around in. But that is just me.

ANyone who makes multiple threads requesting sigs doesnt get one.

Rude ppl dont get one.

I used to frequent a site that had a stickied thread with sig requests. All requests went there, and the finished products were posted there as well.

It worked out pretty well and kept the forum clean for other discussion.

Yes 50 seems about right, and although you like to have room to play with NB (because of your unique sigs) others desire specific things which will appeal to them, so i think a list of desired objects/text is a must

I kinda agree with that one.

And I totally agree with 50 posts at least. :)

~50 posts minimum to get a siggy.

~State the text you desire on your sig.

~If you want an SS of your character then....post it.

~Colors you desire?(sometimes people dont like certain colors  )(this rule is optional)

~If you DONT want a SS of your character then tell us the theme you want your sig to fall under.

<----i think thats pretty basic for now..... 8)

• Primary Text - This is your Name
• Secondary Text - This is your quote (if you want one)
• Style - Abstract, Grunge
• Pictures - Post links to any pictures you wish to be used
NOTE If the quality of the picture you have provided is not up to scratch we will ask you to provide a better pic, or find different pics ourselves.
------------------

• You may only request a sig every two weeks
• You must have 50 posts (no spam) before requesting sigs
• Please do not bump your requests. We work from the bottom of the list up.
• If we know your capable of making a sig yourself, we won't make you one

The only rule I need is the post count one. LOL I dont like some noob coming in hre and spaming topics trying to get a sig. But even then, I like making them so even a noob might get one from me, who knows. I wish more girls wanted them, so I could make fluffy girly ones tho.

I wouldn't mind the post count, it just seems like it's unnecessary to make rules all of a sudden. It worked fine before. :P

Well its because we had a sudden boost in sig requests... thus to make it easier for those who make the sigs, the rules should be set in place
