Well, guys...I couldn't help it. It was between a time-edition $40 Dark Knight Rises print (which was 2nd choice for me) or a resale of his SDCC exclusive Mononoke Hime print on ebay. I went with the regular version of Princess Mononoke (english).

Oh..and if want that Dark Knight poster, I suggest you buy it ASAP since it's only available today (7/18) as an open edition -- after this, expect the prices to soar up to the hundreds in the next few months/years. Good luck.

Mononoke definitely looks better. You made the right choice :D
though I think the red version looks nice :[

It's also a lot more expensive (nearly double the price).

I like the green colorway a lot more -- but yes, I would've preferred the Japanese text on it. But you still can't go wrong with either one. The English text is still pretty neat and I'm very happy about this baby. Now I have an even longer collection of things to frame so maybe in about 6 months or so, I might just go get them all done in 1 shot but budget them for less than $1500 (or $1000 depending on what I'll pick).

The current market price for Mononoke (reg) is $300-$500 and the variant sells for $450-$750. All based on resale history in the past few days. I got the reg for $295 flat with free shipping. :)

Lol that's fine. But if I ever needed/wanted to, I can always sell them for a higher one. =)

It's pretty easy to sell them off. The question is if I actually want to. I track their selling rates from time to time to see if the value increases or declines. But you probably wouldn't know anything about that so think whatever makes you sleep better at night.

The original version is still for sale from that gallery. However, the Korean text variant was sold out for a while now but you can still get them - if you're persistent - from private collectors who are willing to sell their copy.

Really want to get this Olly Moss print badly. But the Green Japanese variant cost so much on ebay :soosad:
