Sig Help!

Post by Shimohime »

I have created a sig...... but for some strange reason it just doesn't show up! It's a png file and hosted at [link removed]

If anyone can help me with it, I greatly appreciate it. Thanx!

Edit: Hmm, I think it's working now... again, thanx

First time I glanced at the title of this thread I thought it said... something else.

Did you enclose it in image tags?

Code: Select all

[img]http://www.geocities.com/silver7allure/shimo_sig.png[/img]

If so, geocities may not allow that, or the forum may not allow .png format in signatures. Convert it to .jpg and throw it on imageshack.us then try again.

Geocities and most of the other free hosts do not allow remote linking. What this means is that any image you try to post on any site other then your own (keeping it mind it's hosted on the geocities server) will not show up.

Try uploading it to http://www.imageshack.us - They allow remote linking.

there is always the old .txt trick that was used before that fancy imageshack.us came around.

upload your image to geocities

and then on the control panel on geocities rename the image and simply change the extension to .txt (so from bob.jpg to bob.txt)

then link to the .txt file using image tags
