So I have recently been getting into photoshop and have been looking for good sites for tutorials. Do you guys have any noteworthy sites where you can get strong tutorials, tips, etc. from? All advice is appreciated :)

Thanks.

google

And this isn't meant as a "LMGTFY" answer, but seriously just type "effect that i want photoshop tutorial" and you'll get a bunch of tutorials for about 95% of the effects that you are searching for.

Yeah, that's true. The only thing is it's nice when I find a tutorial that I wasn't thinking of and could be really cool. But that's true, I guess I will do that too.

Don't follow a tutorial at 100%. Just learn a few cool effects/techniques and apply them with your own imagination. Just for starters, you can start experiencing different effects by changing the blending modes and layer styles of your layers.

Good luck =D

Awesome. I don't want to use the tutorials for too long but for now getting some ideas from them helps me be more creative. I need to know what tools I have before I can start creating stuff.
