I was aiming for quite a simplistic look. Hoping to get a strong feeling from the render itself.

Should I add anything? Any versions you prefer?

Not sure which I prefer.
The background is really cluttered, so it doesn't really make the focal pop.

Work on lighting.
I'm not saying your lighting sucks, but for a piece where you want a high impact, also known as "Wow Effect," the lighting is critical.

I like the warmer version better.
Tone down the light on the most recent one.

Yeah now that I think of it, the warmer version makes him look more alive. Is there any lighting mode you would suggest other than Omni?
