Bioshock Bigdaddy CnC

Post by Brago »

Well first, Exsoldier's big sister inspired me :). and well CnC and thanks for the information.

I was going for a feel to where the big daddy is taking the last little sister away from rapture, because the city is being destroyed (thus its red instead of the blue)

Version 1: Border + Name + Bigdaddy/little sister has the glow of the city being destroyed

Version 2: Border + name

Version 3: Border

Version 4: No border

Imo V2 is the best. As for C&C, move the text closer to the focal, corner text is a no no. Also, work on contrast and blending by blurring the edges the big daddy's arm and the girls shoulder/head. I am also, not a big fan of the big ass border around a sig, imo a simple 1 px border will suffice, but I guess thats al a matter of preference. Finally, the left side of you sig needs some love. Try adding some effects to give it better flow/balance. I like your concept though and I also really like your lighting. KIU!

Love the idea,V2 is also the best for me. I'd suggest a thiner border like McLagg said. As for Font position, follow the rule of thirds. The general idea is great, you just need to spice it up. Maybe add some C4D or brushes.
