First off, try having only one focal point in a tag, dual focal points in tags work rarely.
So, only one samurai guy. ;d

Seen the anime, the backround really fits with the charackter if you ask me ^^
The left render seems a bit pixel-ish (though, im a noob myself aswell so)
I like it overall ^__^

Thanks for the advice =] Actually I set the one on the right as a background and blurred it a bit, but I guess not enough >.<

I actually think this would have worked better if the Mugen on the right was the focal point, and you used the one on the left as part of the background. KIU though.
