Photoshop Project Ideas

Long story short, I am in a Independent Study at school and the teacher is grading me on things I do with photoshop. So, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on things I could do for the class as a project or anything. I was going to do signatures but I don't think I will be able to get many brushes to use or many other resources.

i had an idea but i cant do it, if your a pro at ps you can

its bassicly a bird and its all dark around, its sitting on a tree but thornes are poking at it, but there a light(hope in the corner), and bird is almost gonna fly
