i made a new one. i'd like some comments please. i used a couple of
cloud/explosion/grunge brushes for this, added a clipping mask like
the one .rek used for his latest sig :p (pentool) and i tried to blend
in the stock a little. i just feel like something is missing in most
of my sigs. i mean, i don't dislike them myself, they are pretty nice
to look at, but i just feel like i'm not improving much. so any comment
would be appreciated. on any of the sigs. the good ones AND the fugly
ones :]

i really need some tips. added another one, this time for unglued on some
other forum. what things can i try besides the things i'm currently doing?

Yeah, mostly need to work on colouring. And depth. Looks pretty flat. Flow too, try to set some up with smudging or w/e, depends on they style of this sig. In the ironman one, his colours looked washed out. Make his colours pop.

For the deathnote one, it looks like you smudged the and pasted him on. Try to work on something with the render in the canvas the whole time. Makes it look like hes in the backgorund rather than on top of it.. you understand? Lol, i think im bad at explaining.

Yeah, nice sigs though, with a little work they could be pretty good.

well, i always work with the render on the foreground when i make the backgrounds.
i'm not sure why i messed it up at that death note sig >.< but yeah, i do know what
you mean.

i also agree with, and will be working on, the depth. imo, i got a good depth at
the sig for kyrow (the one with all the bright colors, i think above the ironman
sig), but with the rest, not sure how i can add depth there.

could you give me an example of what i could do with smudging? because i'm now just
using custom brushes, like grunge/explosion/clouds, and try to make them work with
the flow and stuff >.<

Cant help you with smudging, dont do it anymore. @_@

But broken latest smudge sig has great flow. Need to hide again. @_@ Mums angry.

You know how u brushed the black in the bg to make it darker? Try a colour thats close to the bg colour but darker ofc.

tbh, the top right is the background, i only brushed the top left a
little. but sure, i will brush over it with a dark other color to
see how that looks :]
